About the show
A room built for real conversation
The origin, the mission, and the person behind The White Horse Podcast.
Meet the hostOrigin
I kept noticing the same gap. Tampa Bay is full of remarkable leaders doing serious, careful work, and almost none of that thinking ever gets captured in a form worth keeping. Panels stay polite. Interviews stay short. The interesting part, the part where someone tells you how they actually decided, gets cut for time. I built The White Horse Podcast to be the opposite of that: a place with enough room and enough trust for a leader to think out loud in full.
The show
Every episode is a long-form conversation with one leader working at the edge of their field. I do the reading beforehand so we can skip the resume and get to the substance: the decisions, the doubts, the through-lines that connect a career. The show spans business, healthcare, technology, law, AI, and civic innovation because the most useful ideas rarely stay inside one lane. My job is to ask the question under the question, then get out of the way.
How the show came together
- The ideaA gap worth filling
A conviction that Tampa Bay deserved a platform for depth, not another highlight reel.
- The buildFormat before flash
Designing the show around long, prepared conversations and a disciplined publishing rhythm.
- The pilotFirst conversation on the record
Launching with the pilot episode and the promise that every guest gets the same unhurried treatment.
- NowAn ongoing catalog
A growing library of conversations with leaders, extended off-mic through occasional gatherings around Tampa Bay.
I am not interested in the version of the story someone has already told a hundred times. I want the one they are still working out.
The invitation
If you are a leader with something real to say, or a listener who is tired of thin takes, you are the reason this show exists. Listen to an episode, subscribe for what comes next, or reach out to pitch a guest. The door is genuinely open.
